Fall Forum
SEFW’s annual Fall Forum is the Foundation’s signature educational and networking event, bringing together structural engineers, industry partners, and emerging professionals from across Washington. The Forum delivers high-quality technical education, supports continuing professional development, and fosters meaningful connections within the structural engineering community. Proceeds from the event directly support SEFW’s programs, including scholarships, grants, and educational initiatives that strengthen the profession and invest in its future.
FilmWorks Initiative
SEFW has held a FilmWorks competition for amateur filmmakers to create two-minute movies about structural engineering.
Additionally, in 2012, SEFW produced a 43-minute documentary about the structural engineering of the 1962 Seattle World's Fair, which was a huge success.

Engineering Legacy
SEFW supports SEAW's Structural Engineers Hall of Fame which profiles distinguished local structural engineers who have shaped the profession throughout Washington and the world. Part of this effort includes honoring the legacy of engineers who have passed away, showcasing them and directing donations accepted in their names.
